Martina the Cockroach
Martina the Cockroach is a cute story in the Scholastic Folk & Fairy Tale Easy Readers series. Martina finds a gold coin and buys some clothes, then decides to get married. She decides she doesn't want to marry a noisy husband, so she listens to various animals speak. A cat, a rooster, a frog, and a dog all ask her to marry them, but she says no.
